Tic (Dwayne A. Jenkins Sr.)

Washington D.C.

Co-manager, Tenor Trombone

Inspiration: Learned about Gerald Reid, a member of the Howard University Jazz Ensemble in 1985, through the church.

Stixxx (Mark Mccollough)

Washington D.C.

Singer, Percussion

Inspiration: His dad played the bass and guitar which is where his rhythm really comes from. His sister, Clara, is the new-age version of Sheila E. He is also a proud alumnus of the North Carolina School of Arts.

Thaddie Grace, Cradle Rock (Thaddeus Cradle Sr.)

Newport News, VA

Lead, Baritone

Inspiration: First and foremost his dad, who could play whatever he put his hands on (keyboard, trombone...you name it, he could play it). Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley are also major sources musical inspiration.

Mr. Fantastic (Kevin Teller)

Philadelphia, PA ("West Philadelphia born and raised, in the playground is where I spent most of my days" - but seriously, his mom went to school with Will Smith)

Trumpet, Baritone, Sousaphone

Inspiration: His grandfather, after playing for 24 years, developed multiple sclerosis and had to stop playing. As with everyone in the band he had an instrument (in the case the horn) in his hand since birth and looks to carry on his grandfather's legacy.

LS aka. Lost Soul (Lonnie Shepard Jr.)

Washington D.C.

Singer, Trombone, Sousaphone

Inspiration: He grew up in the church and listening to his father's favorites with him and his grandmother. The artists include: Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Al Green, and Ray Charles.

GOAT aka The Greatest of All Time (Mark Anthony Mingo Bruce)   *Fun fact: He is Stixxx's Uncle!

Washington D.C.

Percussion, Horn

Inspiration: It all started with some pots and pans as a kid. Of course he broke all of them, but his grandmother recognized his talent and bought him a drum set at 4 years old. Although his uncle, Paul Gwynn, was an exceptional drummer, GOAT hated the drums. Then, with time, he grew an appreciation and then a love for the instrument and music in general

Country (Steve Belk)

Washington D.C.

Steve is a pretty elusive cat. His details will be up shortly.

Edith Joachimpillai

Toronto, Ontario (Canada); Boston, MA

Co-manager, Chief Marketing Officer

Inspiration: On March 9th, she walked by the band playing one of her favorite tunes "When the Saints Go Marching In" and fell in love. No website. No Facebook. No Instagram. No problem. With a deep love of music, she joined the Spread Love family and the rest, they say, is history.
