It all started with a prayer in a city.

Spread Love Band was initially formed in 2014. The members have a deep connection to gospel roots. They grew up going to church and playing big music. As guys who all have a connection to Washington D.C. they know a thing or two about go-go music. Infusing their love into their work is important to who they are and the music they play everyday.

In 2020 an awakening happened with regards to race - so we feel it important to mention here. Our band members are (and have always been) all African-American men. They have experienced and born-witness to many tragic and devastating injustices. Still, their overwhelming feeling is that spreading love to others will conquer all. We thank all of you who support us through thick and thin. It is not always easy to perform in our shoes, but we always receive the love that we spread many times over.
